Jack Nicklaus: you’re aiming wrong ⛳️
Jack Nicklaus makes the case that aim is the most overlooked part of the swing, and his logic is hard to argue with. Lining up a 2 foot putt is easier than a 40 footer, so instead of aiming at a target 250 yards away he picks a spot a few feet in front of the ball, an old tee or a divot, and draws one line through that spot, the ball, and the target. The detail most amateurs miss is what happens next, since your feet should sit parallel to that line rather than pointed at the target. Aim your feet at the flag and you are actually aimed right of it.
