  1. Phil "The Power" Taylor was the greatest career in sports. Always said to be the greatest of all world champions.

  7. AGING cannot be dodged…just perhaps delayed a bit and it is different for each person. I am a Type 2 Diabetic and had a near heart failure 15 months ago and have a pacemaker at age 66 now! Jack was +8 to maybe +10 Handicap so 12-14 strokes better on 1 round than me at a 4 HCP! Say a 65 at Augusta and maybe I could shoot 79 there on a HOT ROUND but I never played that course….his 18 Majors and 19 2nd place finishes IN MAJORS might be UNBREAKABLE! Glad he won his legal battle! Good on his LOYAL WIFE BARBARA for standingt by him!

    You are very repetitive .. maybe you get points if this show is longer

    And you keep saying that his heart condition was finally revealed.. and that it’s progressive .. that he has only a certain “time” that the condition will take him, if nothing more devastating happens to his health

    But you never name it. .. and that why you are boring and obvious

    Was I paying attention?

  16. I remember the day, long ago, in Bath, New York, when I was carrying the bags for a young man who was the US Amateur Champion, and his girlfriend, Barbara. They were beautiful people. I shagged balls out in the first fairway, catching his wedge shots with my baseball glove. There was no crowd, actually, there was no one there but the three of us. Over a few summers, he had taught me the meaning of being a great golfer and a great person. I have many pictures from those days, reminding me of the man known to the world as just Jack. Those were some very lucky days I had those many years ago, and now, tomorrow, I turn 80. At 86 years old, I imagine my old friend may never remember me nor those days at the Bath Country Club, but I shall always remember him, and especially those days. As a senior, I started shooting my age or better at 69, and actually lost count of how many times I did that impossible feat, but know it was well over 100 times when I quit counting. Monday I shall go out for my, most likely, last time playing golf, and shoot my age or better one last time in honor to my friend and teacher, the great man known only as JACK.
