Adam Scott speaks to the media ahead of the 2026 BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis.

Scott is the only player in this week’s field who also competed at Bellerive in both the 2008 BMW Championship and the 2018 PGA Championship. He reflects on returning to the course where he played alongside Brooks Koepka in the final pairing of a major and explains why those memories remain so vivid.

The Australian also discusses the importance of qualifying for the TOUR Championship at this stage of his career. Beyond the opportunity to compete for another title, a place in the season finale would provide valuable exemptions and allow him greater control over his schedule next year.

Scott explains why greater consistency with his irons and swing thoughts has improved his approach play, assesses his recent putting form and reveals why he experimented with a short putter before returning to the longer model.

Other topics include Si Woo Kim’s role in the International Presidents Cup team, the challenge of ending the Internationals’ losing streak at Medinah, possible pathways back to the PGA TOUR for LIV Golf players and the two famous courses he would most like to play.
