Can I Break This Course Record In One Try? (Stunning Views)

I flew across the continent to the Canadian Rockies for one reason: to try and break the course record at Silvertip Golf Course. This place has some of the wildest elevation changes I’ve ever played, tons of blind shots, and some incredible views. This is one I’ll never forget.

  1. You should try to break the course record on Nullarbor Links in the Australian Outback! Worlds longest golf course at 850 miles, you drive in the desert between holes. It would really fit these type of scenic storytelling videos you’re doing nowadays.

  2. Played here last summer. Shot a 78 ….nowhere near a course record 🤣 but i was damn pleased with that score for my first time around that track. An absolute gem in Canmore. Love that course.

  3. Awesome job Bryson. I love listening to you talk your way thru the shots. I learn a lot. As a new subscriber I am excited to watch your content coming. I ,also enjoy watching you golf. Thank you👍

  4. I would love to see you come to my home course. Victoria Bryant state park golf course. It would be an insane challenge and I think you would love it. It’s located in Royston Georgia.

  5. I live about 5 hours from here but I try and make it out every year for a round I love the views and everything about this course, so cool to see a YouTube golfer play a course that you know super well

  6. Liked Bryson until I learning he is buddies with the most corrupt and incompetent president in US history. Unsubscribed

  7. Id like to chime in from personal experience on how even having a brief perhaps delusional moment on the course where you think a course record is possible is not only one of the most exciting possible golf experiences, but for me, also about a million times more pressurized and completely impossible to stay in the moment than any of the hundreds of tournaments and $10 nassaus ive had over the last 40 years. The only one im pretty sure I have, but alas cant prove it is why the story is so funny and at the time so tragic. Yearly summer fam trip to Hilton head in the late 70’s. Dad and I played golf everyday then the fam would eat and go play the local epic miniature golf course. Ofcourse, I show up with my Spalding tpm#2 ( my ONLY putter since 1975), and as fate would have it after a day of not making anything. I shoot 5 under on a course basically in the dark and not at ALL designed for any kind of skill or acumen. I made everything and 100% convinced I was breaking the course record with 5 or 6 holes left, and I still kept making impossible putts! Im 14, literally running to the pro shop ( really a tiki hut) and when I tell them what I shot they look at me like im some kind of clown( clearly I was) , and the manager said, “ what are you talking about? There is NO course record”. Fairly ruined the rest of my week. Oh well, thanks for playing.

  8. Love seeing Bryson playing in our backyard. Playing Silvertip in a couple weeks! Can’t wait to smash a 380 yard drive 😂

  9. Please stop calling it a double eagle. What you are referring to has a name: albatross

A double eagle would be 4 under par. Why not call eagles double birdies? Oh, because it ridiculous.

Please remove that term from all golf vocabularies.

  10. I used to be a single digit handicap until I got hurt and detached my retinas. I thoroughly enjoy watching your game. I can't play like I used to and kind of live my golf life through your eyes. Thank you for sharing your awesome play!

  11. An amazing video, I loved watching Bryson struggle with his greatest enemy: his golf bag.
Dude needs a system, those clubs would just not come out.

  12. Played this course on a bachelor party trip a few years ago, and ever since I've pointed to it as the nicest track I've ever hacked my way around. Watching this pretty much cemented that I need to go back as soon as possible.

It also made my night that Bryson had a bogey on hole 4, mostly because that was my only birdie of my round there. I have no doubt the man could beat me while blindfolded and hitting off of one leg, but it's kinda neat to think I had a better score on even one hole haha.

  13. BC does the shifting rocker “long drive” kinda swing of the tee… that muscle memory even just slightly seems to bleed over into practically every other club including wedges… which I’m no club pro but that can’t be helping nail down exact yardages especially wedges and even with gauging partial swing distances
