I’ve missed 3 straight cuts… let’s talk about it

Thought it was important to sit down and express some of my thoughts and feelings around my performance this year in the majors. I also wanted to give you guys a real inside look and breakdown of what I’m thinking out there on the course in these big moments. Let’s talk about it.

  1. Just another step in the journey. Thank you guys for continuing to come along for it with me.

Let me know if you want to see more raw reactions and breakdowns like this

  2. seems like a nice dude, but he's a head case, over thinks everything, lost the fun, just have fun dude, stop caring, you've made it, you're set for life, so when you play the game of golf now, just think "i don't care what happens, im going to enjoy this round as much as possible, and just have fun, i do not care" , just in between the ears, keep it simple, have as much fun as possible, not playing as good as possible

  3. The In and Out double-double got ya. Tough in the wind when the draw won't draw. This is a great demonstration of how easy a round can flip in score when the saves aren't there and small misses are punished. Probably feels a lot worse because you didn't convert some great driving into a number. Too good to stay down long – just means you're closer to getting it done again. Thanks for sharing – looking forward to the next time you go on a tear!

  4. Just forget what happened and look towards the next. Every new hole is the start of the tournament. One swing at a time. This is why golf is so hard as it's so easy to get inside your own head. You're a pro golfer listen to your gut, your caddy is like a therapist among many different jobs out there. Both of y'all know what you need to do to win the last major of the year. I fully expect and won't be shocked if you win the last major of the year. Always think you can win every major time to show the haters why youre more famous and better at golf then they are!

  5. I am by no means a professional golfer, but watching this I can’t help but feel that the line is so thin between making the cut and winning the tournament. There’s a reason the wins at these majors seem magical. They almost always require multiple unbelievably low percentage shots to win. Easier said than done, but shake it off and move along, you’re not far off from winning. Just observing, it seemed like the biggest thing that bit you was not understanding how the greens would play. You seemed to execute on a number of shots into the green and on some putts, but not get the result you were expecting.

  6. Showing this debacle on YouTube doesn’t make it any better and actually makes it look worse. That second round wasn’t even close and looked like someone who wasn’t prepared and didn’t how to screw out a score when not having their best stuff.

  7. You just need to decide whether you want to be a youtube golfer or a true US Open Champion. Many many golfers had the same wind, the same course, the same EVERYTHING and made the cut. Many., many of those players were NOT as good as you are. Period. I can guarantee you that NOBODY will be watching your stuff in the future if you continue to miss BIG cuts. We are NOT talking about WINS, we're talking about NOT making cuts. Take some time OFF and WORK on your game. THAT'S what the true FANS of golf like. The BEST golfers MISS you and your ability to CONTEND. Stop whining about the gear and either correct it or get new stuff.MANY have noticed it, you gotta ADAPT. You don't adapt anymore. You NEED to adapt!!

  8. Incredible golfer but maybe the amount of work being put in is too much. Sometimes your body and mind just needs to take a break. You are going to come back better than ever and there are definitely more majors coming for you 👊🏼

  9. I understand you wanna play well and you're competitive. however, cheer up man. I say this with love but dude you're worth tens of millions, you're famous, you're damn good at what you do.You are loved by millions. so what man, you missed a few cuts. Be thankful. you'll never have to struggle or deal with a job that you hate just to survive. You can raise a family and be present and have the abundance to give them the best life possible. You can never play again and youre still set for life. you play the most prestigious places on planet earth. you can vacation when you want have about any woman you want. relax! take a deep breath man its all gonna be fine. you have so much to be thankful for brother. God has blessed you with abundance. Get em on the next one dude you got it. In the meantime take a step back and enjoy the life you have.

  10. Brysin needs to get himself battle hardened in order to compete at the highest level. Youtube golf and LIV are not going to do it. Koepka Realized it, and made the switch back, Bryson needs to do the same.

  11. I am a decent player, not a pro. If I have a bad week or three I just basically ignore it because I know my game is solid. Bryson may not need anything more than some time away from the game to get back into superb form. Pro golf is an incredible grind and will wear down even the very best in the game.

  12. Victor also missed the cut with the same score. He stayed at Shinnecock all weekend and spent a total of 6 hours on the range there. Then look what happened. I wonder how Bryson spent his weekend.

  13. I do enjoy your gamesmanship in your youtube videos. You're youtube persona is great. Your breakdowns are bar none fantastic. As a fan of golf and ethics, you made a severe miscalculation taking saudi money. I will never respect you. I hope you never win another major. Take your 100s of millions and stuff it. You made your bed, now sleep in it. You will never be top 10.

  14. Chin up Bryson. You’re one of the best out there and you know it. Just keep moving forward with these majors. Next shot mentality. Don’t get in your own way

  15. you reignited my love for golf, man. Keep working,, one of these weeks it'll all click again, and you'll be winning tourneys left right and center.

  16. What a generous champion to share this with us! Many thanks!
Rooting for you to get to where we know you can be, as soon as possible.

  17. Bryson, thank you for all you do for golf. Keep at it, and take one day/shot at a time. I have a great selfie of you and me at the CVS Charity Classic tournament at RI County Club a few years ago. You've come so far since then. Love all your videos.

  18. You're overthinking it my boy. You have a natural talent. Youtube, LIV golf, has nothing to do with it, and is taking nothing from you. Take a lesson from uncle John. Just grip it, and rip it.

  19. Golf is humbling. A couple of strokes here and there is the difference between not making the cut and competing with the leader's. You'll be back.

  20. Always cheering for you man! Hang in there! Carry on my friend. If it was easy everyone could do it! Stay strong! Keep battling!

  21. The people who win consistently are not spending their time worrying about content and being a YouTube star…. what's more important, trophies or getting clicks and views?
