The key is not one specific move. The key is that each sequence happens at the right time and flows smoothly into the next one.
If sequence #3 happens too early and your shoulders rise too soon, you may stay behind the ball and hit it fat, even if the other movements are correct.
If you skip sequence #1 and start rotating before shifting weight forward, your hip rotation often won’t work efficiently because your weight is still on the trail side.
If you release the wrist angles too early, you’ll transfer energy into the club too soon, lose shaft lean, and make it harder to compress the golf ball.
That’s why the goal isn’t to perfect one sequence. It’s to create the correct chain reaction.
Interestingly, there are drills that help this happen naturally. Think about skipping a stone across water. Most people instinctively create a great sequence without thinking about mechanics.
