Place was brutal.
Also not fun watching.. giving this event a skip next year.
So who depends on a morning wind prediction to decide a shot instead of throwing up grass, looking at the trees and feeling your shirt flapping? And why are pros complaining about wind?
Nice guy…..but others were going round ok.
I have played that course a hundred + times and it’s an absolute beast on a perfect day. Dray fast and add wind and it would easily be the hardest test of golf these guys see all year unless the USGA sets up some gimmick US Open track.
I always feel physically and mentally worked over after playing there. The course has been revised several times over the last 30 years and I feel they made it play 5 shots harder than it was in the 1980s-90s.
sometimes I just gotta laugh at their pain, I love JT but our Saturday medals in UK have rain, wind, sun and heavy rough, different sand in bunkers, plugged balls that get lost, no fans who are ball spotters, bare lies, mud lies whilst we are struggling to play or better our hcap…these guys play in perfect conditions so much they forget what its like at club level haha

Wish I could jump into his body for 1 round and feel what that swing,chip,putt feels like to know my shot is going where I want it to. And instead of +15 I’m -15.

Am I the only one sayin whhhaaaat? It was hard? The wind didn’t do what is was supposed to do? I didn’t do well, so now I have a week off? I love golf, play golf, watch golf. Why the whining? This is what you do for a living, bless your heart. Be an ICU nurse for a night shift on a full moon Saturday night, understaffed, with no days off in sight, then you can whine. Pro golfer whining fatigue. How about just play OR play better😉. Winner was -12.
