  1. Bro I love your videos but jeez you let the money effect your judgment. You admitted that you wanted a big name to do well so you could do a video on it to make money???? That’s not for the love of the game. Your videos are 💯 fire. Don’t let the chasing of money affect your love of the game. Trust me!! Your style of video and the quality will be recognized. You create some of the best content I’ve seen on YouTube. Love the game bro just love the game and it will love you back 💯

  3. Kind of a weird video. In his last 10 majors, Bryson has finishes of 10, 2, 5, 1, 2, and 6. In his career, he’s got 10 major finishes of T8 or better. He’s spent years in the top five on DataGolf. There’s reasons to not be a fan of the guy, but he’s an objectively world class golfer.

  5. "Horses for courses". The PGA was ridiculous wind (= anything can happen / Fleetwood missed the cut, too) and Augusta was 2 bunkers that ruined him. He's about the same as Phil was in terms of wins at this point in his career, aside from having two Majors WAY sooner.

  6. I think the mental side of it is a bigger factor. Dude gets in his head too much, overthinks and it just spirals even more.

  7. I think you hit a lot of the same thoughts I have had about Bryson lately. Honestly think he went way too deep into YouTube for a professional golfer. When he made a video about driving a UHUAL to the Masters, I immediately took him out of the fantasy golf team. That not how you prepare for a major. If YouTube makes him happy, great for him and he obviously going to be successful but if he want to be the best in the world he needs to get back to preparing for tournament and stop thinking he can do everything and be a top tier player.

The game of golf, especially for pros, is always about what kind of a player you are from 100 yards and in and when you neglect your practice and emphasis on this you're going to suffer as a result. Clearly Bryson is neglecting it. he spends so much time obsessing with swing speed, messing with his equipment and doing youtube videos rather than being out there 3-4 hours per day hitting all sorts of wedge shots and working on his short game and putting.

  17. I enjoy watching Bryson struggle. Call it petty but given his friendship with the current US President and some of his takes and attitudes… Its cathartic to see him struggle. I'll never feel bad for him, he'll be a multimillionaire for life.

  22. I watch Bryson for the same reason I watch Trevor Bauer – I play golf, and I like watching a pro play a round and see their approach to the game and how I can implement it in mine. Unfortunately Bryson’s is still really good at golf so I can’t implement the things he does well (drive and gouge, namely) whereas the rest of his game sucks, and he’s leaning too far into the Mr beastification of YouTube to be entertaining to anyone who’s not literally a kid lol

  24. The hardest part of the game is between the ears. Bryson is a incredible golfer but he has worked extremely hard to get there, think about all the changes he had to make to his game to be competitive. He also plays very technical and analytical not by feel. And when math doesn't add up he is way off.

  27. Dude was a on the rise golfer who’s off the tee game was/is strong. But he sold his passion to the highest bidder and for the clicks (especially around the Trump collab) and now it’s coming back to bite him. The issue is that when he was starting to turn that corner…he cashed in.

  28. is he top 5 in the world caliber golfer? yes. is he also an arrogant, spoiled, know it all prone to meltdowns (i.e., fragile ego)? also yes. i think he has all the tools to be great….i mean he has 9 tour wins, 2 of them majors – that's already pretty fantastic by any standard….but as a character – i'm not a fan and think he'll never get where he could be with his gifts because of his ego. i do wanna give him one shout out though – he proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that power is the most important thing in golf.

  29. You cant win EVERY tournament. He is 1 off the lead in this week's tournament. Seems like now that he's all over youtube everyone is making pointless videos to jump on the bandwagon.

  31. Stress brings out the real personality. The real personality seems to be angry, petulant, childish, immature. The Ryder Cup really showed who he was. But then there was that time he took almost 8 minutes over a 10 foot putt, lost and walked off without shaking the winners hand. I did watch one of his break 50 videos. I skipped most of it. The tees he was playing from was just plain stupid. Some of them weren't even tees but the start of the fairway. Perhaps the PGA can invite me to the next Major next year. I can miss the cut too.

  36. Bryson’s short game, and especially his putter is looking dangerously bad. This is compounded by just how good he is off the tee. He’s actually scary good off the tee. His average driving distance would put him at #1 on the PGA Tour and he’s scarily straight on top of it.

    He just isn’t dangerous in his approach or his putter. It feels like he’s playing par golf which is average. He doesn’t have room to shave strokes because it seems like he’s fighting to stay on par, and as soon as he gets a bad break he kind of crumbles. If he loses his massive driving advantage I would be very worried for him.

  37. DeChambeau has about 4 years left to play golf. His swing is going to fall apart as he gets older. It puts too much stress on his joints to keep that single plane swing and hit it so hard.

Golf is a very mercurial game, Bryson is a very good player it would be silly to say he wasn't however his profile is higher than his results as you point out, Rory has 30 top ten major finishes 20 top 5 finishes and 6 major wins and the grand slam with 50 other professional wins, it's not even a conversation however Bryson's profile is up there with Rory's. Bryson is a very good player that is having a tough time however I think people expect too much of him due to his profile.

  41. He spends way Too much time trying to be a content creator. He has the opportunity to play in majors, and instead of keeping his head down and practicing; he’s having fun goofing off on YT. Obviously he’s practicing, just not the way he used to

  42. I’m certain he got wind of the LIV failure and has been mentally off his game ever since knowing it’s over there but also has no pga future now either .

  43. LIV competition is different, mental side is way easier on LIV so that would be most important reason. 2nd – no golfer goes without ups and downs. 3rd he is not at Rory or Scottie tier. I like his Youtube channel (still one of the best pros in the world) where you can see what thought process these players have.

I love Bryson and in my opinion I think he's just in a slump…but with that said I've always thought it was weird that he had more success hitting 250 yard 3 woods on the green than hitting 70 yard pitch shots. Even his camera man makes jokes about it. It's tough to be all time great at golf while you get worse the closer you get to the hole.

  46. This guy does a really good job of pretending not to be a hater while simultaneously spouting extremely biased hate lol. "Hes not even playing good on liv anymore " he literally won back to back tournaments on liv a few weeks ago and got 3rd this weekend. I can see why people don't like Bryson but pretending hes still not one of the best in the world is very strange. Hes still ranked like 20th. Hes very clearly still elite. He just has massive ups and downs

  47. He’s trying to get too cute with equipment. I’d be willing to bet that if he went and got fitted like a regular Joe, and played what they fit him into for an entire season, his stats would improve. He seems to think that he’s going to find some cheat code for equipment and outsmart the fundamentals of equipment fitting.

  48. Bryson's biggest enemy is Bryson. He creates most of the noise he has to deal with, and then expects us to give a shit. It's weird. Like, dude we like you, just don't weird.

  49. Every pro goes through slumps. Homa couldn’t hit a ball straight for over a year. Brooks struggled for multiple years in a row. I’m not worried about Bryson at all. He’ll bounce back
