He was the 6 th pick , he is not a draft steal . A steal would be nick lardis a third round pick who is a future top 6 for years to come

Nesbitt really improved in the later half of the year. He’s obviously not a 1C.. but like you said- there wasn’t a 1C at 4th overall so….. it’s not like Danny whiffed there (from what we see so far)

Lifelong Flyers fan here and this kid is the real deal. He loves to shoot as the Flyers haven’t had a true sniper on the wing since Leclair or Tim Kerr.

The other thing i love about him is his vision on ice. He moves the puck with ease out of the defensive zone in transition. You can’t teach that as either you see the ice like a QB or you don’t.

The third thing i love is he has a chip on his shoulder. He plays the game with a lot of grit for a goal scorer. He is already beloved by the fanbase.

Traded Makar, Vejmelka, and Pinto for Celebrini, Martone, and a 1st early on this season in my keeper league. Martone was a big want in that trade. Keeper league.

Second best player in the draft and it’s not even close. The only argument is between him and Schaefer for #1, and because Schaefer did it all year he gets the nod but the future will be interesting.
