Downfall my ass, all are more successful than you ..
You should have added Morgan Pressel to that list as well.
Michelle Wie was definitely a disappointment in the sense of wins, i’m sure she will admit that herself. Had so much potential, but COULD NOT PUTT to save her life. Same with Lexi. Maybe being 6’ does come with its downfalls. However, they were both HUGE in growing Women’s golf and prize money. During the Social Media boom.
I wondered about Natalie Gulbis too. She was a solid golfer for a while. But then she began to pay more attention to her status as "most beautiful" and "glamorous" than to her golf abilities. I think she could've been a great golfer, but chose to focus on her modeling instead.
Both Michelle Wie & Lydia Ko were the victims of David Leadbetter & his GIANT ego! He has always & will always teach “HIS” swing rather than adapting his coaching to the player! It destroyed Wie’s body because she couldn’t physically do it but tried to force it. This is the biggest contributing factor into why she broke down so often & retired early. In attempting to gain distance Ko went to him & he forced “his swing” on to her as well & it caused her to lose her natural swing. It wasn’t until after she left him that she got back into her winning ways!
