The PGA TOUR returns to the mainland this week for the 65th annual playing of The American Express. This event is the first multi-course event of the season. Justin Thomas will be teeing it up for the first time this year, his first appearance in La Quinta since finishing T7 in 2015. He’ll be looking to replicate the form which saw him claim three-straight top-fives worldwide after missing out on the FedExCup Playoffs. Scottie Scheffler will also be in California this week and has three top-25 results at The American Express in his career highlighted by a solo third in 2020. He also managed a T5 at The Sentry two weeks ago. Min Woo Lee will also like his chances this week in the Coachella Valley as he concluded 2023 as one of the hottest on the planet with a pair of wins worldwide highlighting a stretch of five-straight top-15s. Others to look out for are Xander Schauffele, Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler and Will Zalatoris.

Classic PGA. Not a single highlight for the Bryan bros in Bermuda, not a highlight for Sam Burns going off yesterday, and you got a highlight of JT when there is an amateur in the field that was better then him today. Get it together!!
Justin is a natural. You go man!
Good to see JT playing at a high level again
Nick Dunlap , an amateur shot 60 and is leading the tournament.🏟️
Someone forgot to tell the marketing department I guess….lol…
Where are the highlights for Dunlap’s 60?
What shoe model is he wearing? I like how simple they are.
Where’s Dunlaps highlights?
Imagine you’ve been on tour for a couple years and have 15 wins on tour, you shot -11 and come in to see a 20 year old amateur shot -12 and is 3 shots ahead of you for the tournament
That lip out on a near ace…PAIN!
What a round of golf JT played! Fantastic!
Dunlap full round when
Exhibition golf !
Good to see Justin back to his best
Could easily have been a 58.
My favorite swing on tour.
Chocking today his arrogance got to him
So good to see JT cooking again
I felt like he was gonna get his game back on track this year, this is a good start
