Brooks Koepka returns to TPC Scottsdale to defend his 2021 WM Phoenix Open title. The Floridian will have to battle an extremely strong field that includes World No. 1 Jon Rahm, two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson and 2020 Ryder Cup teammates Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth and Tony Finau. 2021 FedExCup winner Patrick Cantlay will be making his debut performance at TPC Scottsdale, buoyed by his impressive T4 finish at last week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Hideki Matsuyama will be hoping to join an elite group of players to have won three WM Phoenix Open titles after winning back-to-back in 2016 and 2017. The 2021 Masters champion has had a tremendous start to the year, winning the Sony Open in Hawaii and will be looking to continue his good form in Arizona this week. Other names to look out for include World No. 3 Viktor Hovland, who secured victory at the Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic in January 2022 and 2017 PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas.

I'm just glad to see he's gotten his physique under control. Had a little fluctuation the last couple years. Something we all struggle with. But he's looking closer to that 2018-2019 Brooks.

Some better camera angles and longer highlights is a promising sign for the channel. It was great in 2017 before they dropped the ball completely.

Way to go Brooks and need to continue to shoot under five under par on Saturday to be in contention for Sunday. Keep driving them straight and long, aim for the flag sticks and punt for birdies or pars. You have a BIG fan base and your fans are rooting for you to play your best and have fun!

Koepka is another golf millionaire who cannot get enough and who has no morals and ethical value- taking money from an anti-democratic government which violates human rights. And he is a coward as he did not dare to speak the truth at the US Open press conference about his intentions to join that clown golf-show by trying to avoid answers. What a whimp and poor being. His wife would not want to live one week with the same (non-) rights which women have in Saudi Arabia. And there she is profiting from his decision, cashing in blood money. You can be real proud of yourself – you are not a sporstman , "Brooksie " no matter how much you bench press- you are a loser – giving up history for a pathetic golf circus. If these public figures bend over for money they do not need and send a signal to opressing regimes then they do nothing to improve this world. That is a role they could fill and not only enjoy their celebrity and fame. Do something good while you can !
