Rory McIlroy will take centre stage at this year’s Dubai Desert Classic as the DP World Tour continues its desert swing in the Middle East. The World No.1 will be teeing it up at the second Rolex Series event of the season, alongside compatriot and 2022 BMW Championship winner Shane Lowry, and former Ryder Cup teammate Francesco Molinari. Winner of last week’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship Victor Perez will once again be in action, hoping to continue his excellent form. Two-time winner of the event Stephen Gallacher will be making a remarkable 23rd appearance and the Dubai Desert classic and remains the only player in its 33-year history to have achieved back-to-back wins in Dubai.

I highly respect the players of the PGA tour and their opinions about LIV golf. I just find it contradicting that they won't play for the league because of where the money is coming from. But they will travel to and play in the same country they have such negative opinions about. Am I missing something here? Please educate me, I'm a bit ignorant about this.
