Two-time Hero Dubai Desert Classic Champion walks the final three holes on The Majilis Course as he looks to make it a hattrick of wins at Emirates Golf Club.
A lot has changed since Rory won his maiden DP World Tour title at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in 2009. Back then the Northern Irishman was a curly-haired teenager with a prodigious talent searching for his first professional title.
Since lifting Dubai’s famed Dallah trophy 14 years ago at Emirates Golf Club, McIlroy has become a four-time Major Champion and risen to the summit of the men’s game.
‘The Walk of a Hero’ sees the 33-year-old provide a revealing insight into his development as a golfer as he begins his 2023 campaign at the scene of where his career burst into life.

one on one with patrick reed?
Great vid, plenty of useful insight we cab borrow on and off the course. Thanks for sharing!
Wee Rory is feeling the pressure and if Pat Reed wins this week he might explode.
How fake can someone get….
Reset for December and most of January. 😅
Rory loves to talk

Here is my advice for you Rory. "SHUT THE HELL UP." No one is interested in your opinion on ANYTHING, outside of playing golf. Not LIV, not Trump, not COVID, not marriage, not management, NOTHING. The fact you're ONE ON ONE and saying how you needed to get away, is typical of your demand for the spotlight. You've spent the last ten years not winning majors, which ten years ago was unimaginable. But you found a way and of course you have the excuses. This presentation is a cliche, filled with cliches, which is what you are anyway, predictable. When you came onto the scene I was so happy and I thought how amazing it would be to meet you. I am glad that never happened.
