At the 2021 PGA Championship, Mickelson became the oldest men’s major champion ever, winning at 50 years, 11 months, and 7 days old. He did it at Kiawah’s Ocean Course, a 7,876-yard setup described as the longest course ever used for a major, while holding off Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen by two shots.
