PGA propaganda.
Was it worth it? YOU DAMN RIGHT IT WAS!!!
Now that we know it's all coming to an end, these guys proved that they were always "the smartest ones in the room" when they made the decision to go to LIV.
pga? forced to increase prize money– because of liv.
add signature events with top players, give players a lil more say…. slowly
if i was a pro.. money talks
If you are there then don't come back don't need you to play at the majors. But that's not enough for these money hungry golfers. Please say at liv . Don't ever come back
All these players lost a ton of respect from golf fans. More importantly(perhaps), at some point they may lose self-respect, which in theory, be even more devastating to themselves over time. I personally have never watched even one shot of a LIV event. None of my golfing friends have any interest in LIV either.
The PGA is still thriving for all around the world. LIV team type golf is and will fail, period. The sport will survive without LIV. Golf is and will always be a somewhat class type and individual sport. Team sport golf will fail every time. The Radyer cup team golf could go away and golf will survive. Period.
Pga was screwing over the players for years!! Next time someone offers you a ton more money to do the same job I expect you to turn it down oh high and mighty one🙄
The outrage over this is funny. Don't tell me "He was my best friend" until he got a better offer somewhere else. Hell, I work across the street from my old job and still talk to my old Boss. My currently company pays me much better. PERIOD!
Oh, "Monday morning Joe Couch Rider" saying he would never "Sell Out" has never been nor will he be offered that chance
Imagine PIF had invested this money in poor Muslims & Arabs…
I do not blame any of them for securing their financial future. All the angst from those that think they lost respect crack me up.
Democracy is the freedom of choice. Don't waste time arguing. PGA and DP is only for those kiss the flag. Whilst Liv continue to progress with or without them.
The PGA doesn't own players,it's like supporting a dictatorship so I don't get the hate towards LIV players.
Golfers can retire after LIV
Only if they got the money. PIF stopped funding it's failed copied scheme at end of '25 and players haven't been paid since… which is obvious at Livv pressers when Ramm & Bryce look like they are hostages with bad scripts.
The younger players can redeem their reputation over time, but Phil is too old to repair the damage.
Not all money is good money!!
LivTURD 😂
They didn't care about their legacy. All they cared about was the money. LIV is dying after the Saudis will stop funding this year. Where will these pros play. Who cares
If I was lucky enough to be a pro golfer like those guys, and a person came up and said to me, I will give you $200 million to sign this contract for 3 years, I would have to stop and think first. I
would need to take into consideration that I am not a fan of the Saudi royal family, what legacy I wanted in Golf, what my family and friends thought about it, the ramifications of signing regarding the different Golfing Tours possible reactions and outcomes.
If family were all for it, I would take the $200m. $50m to $200m, managed correctly is generational wealth. Do the 3 years then leave and just do what I had to do to get back on the Tours. Family first, Golf second.
