What does this guy even know about golf?
😊
His right forearm looks bruised.
The GOAT speaks…..we listen
Oh really I’m supposed to take lessons from a guy who only won 18 majors pffft whatever dude
I tried that shit in 1977, and its bs
I don't know who this guy is. But I think he knows what he is doing. This is what I have been telling myself, play loose with some booz…and Please dont rush and you will hit it flush.😎
Although, Jack Nicklaus is considered the GOAT 🐐, I am a disciple of Moe Norman, and Todd Graves and the Single Plane Swing.
What does he know? So many Internet golf gurus.
What could a guy who won 18 majors and finished second 19 times in majors know about a golf grip let alone how to hit a golf ball?
Is this some weekend hacker trying to teach kids how to play golf? 😂
The Golden Bear
All the modern tech, all the modern analysis load of shit, in every sport. This is it kids, dont over complicate anything in life, dont let the people who never do anything tell you what to do. The basics are your foundation, in anything you do. If you are a young golfer, listen to this guy.
You can’t play good golf with a baseball grip, it’s virtually impossible.
Ya but what's he done lately? 😅
Take notes.
red shirts black pants, original goat:)
would have loved to see prime age Jack playing with todays equipment would have been epic
This is all a lie when you have different swing planes back and forth
The most important is to be rich enough to make the rules
I dont believe this man…
When "The Golden Bear" speaks, people listen!
That shaft that runs through your upper body follows your spine. It would enter the ground behind your body not between your feet. That keeps your upper body at the same angle throughout the swing.
Don’t listen to this old guy
Jack's 1986 Masters win is one of the greatest victories of all time
It's my favorite.
Besides Arnold Palmer being much more famous and extremely popular, Nicklaus had a few good things to say about the golf swing. He was not popular. He played extremely slow. He didn't smile much.
A great teacher in golf. 👌
His head doesn't remain still here.He used to turn his head slightly to the right at set-up to stay behind the ball. Scheffler has a still head. Nicklaus swing is nothing like Hogan's even at set-up. His elbows are not back towards his body with the inside facing forward & his swing is more upright & the club finished nearly parallel to his spine instead of around & parallel to his neck. The same applies to Watson, Miller, Montgomery, Norman & others. They had much less body rotation making the swing more of a U insted of a circle around the body resisting with separation & none of them had back injuries throughout their long careers unlike today's modern swings that have caused many back injuries to players only in their 30s. Rory had a back issue & couldn't play the Palmer tournament, Morikawa had a back injury recently, JT had back surgery in the off-season, Day has had back issues for years along with Couples & Mediate, & of course the king of back surgeries, the arguable GOAT, Woods with 7 back surgeries along with knees. Be careful about what you're doing with your body when building your swing. The human body wasn't designed to be used like the modern swing. Twisting & rotating with separation against a fixed spine isn't a good idea.
No idea how people play with a baseball grip
Jack, how do I hit a 2iron in the wind from 180yrds to 2 feet from the pin ?
Still head myth started with that guy and his books 🤗
The key to almost any physical skill is to figure out how to do complicated things in the simplest and most easeful possible way. The masters ALWAYS focus ruthlessly on the basics.
