  1. Miller was as dominant a player as anyone, at times. Especially playing in the desert swing.

  2. I saw Johnny in a golf cart early one day at Torrey before the broadcast, looked like was was just watching one of the groups playing the first few holes. I went up to him and told him how much I enjoyed his broadcasting. He thanked me and seemed very touched.

  3. What is missing in today's masters are the roars coming from other holes when greats like Arnie, Trevino, Player, Watson, Jack, Miller and Seve competed. Back then you had to manage your game and deal with other legends doing legendary things. Easily the peak period of golf history. The competition Jack faced dwarfs anything since. Nowadays all you have to watch are Scottie and Rory. The rest fade on Sunday.
