NEW Titleist GTS driver Launch Frenzy | Inside the Ropes | Texas Children’s Houston Open
In this week’s episode of Inside the Ropes, Alistair Cameron comes to us from the Space City and the Texas Children’s Houston Open.
Titleist’s GTS driver launch was the undisputed equipment story of the week, and Alistair caught up with several pros to discuss their impressions after testing the new line.
Also featured: One of the Tour’s longest hitters, Aldrich Potgiter, making a driver and shaft change, new shafts from Fujikura, a new wedge for Jason Day, and more!
Glad to hear he is saying GTS3 is more "muted", because the shorts Titleist has put out it sounds more metallic/tingy/worse.
It’s sucks because they all say the same thing EVERY time a new release comes out. There is a max limit these club manufactures for them to stay conforming and it hasn’t changed in years. Every year “it’s faster” ….. yet there is zero difference in distance from the drivers five years ago .
Why are drums constantly pounding in the background? Who made that decision?
Let’s hear from those who DON’T like it.
Hopefully there is a GTS 300 or 305. 280 was too small. Something R7 size.
Sounds like they’re saying it’s more forgiving than the GT, especially the 3 wood.
Another over priced driver…….
Can't wait to hear more about the GTS line. Titleist hasn't made it easy being that the GT line is so darn good.
That spider putter from davis with the milled insert is crazyyyy
GTS3 looks way to similar to the GT3 and the weight system is blah for a two year release. TSR3 was better than the GT3 I'm guessing the same this year.
