The PGA TOUR kicks off its Florida swing at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, returning to PGA National Resort (Champion Course), one of the circuit’s most demanding and recognizable venues. Defending champion Joe Highsmith looks to repeat after last year’s breakthrough 19-under performance, where he rallied from four shots back with two rounds of 64 on the weekend to win by two. He’ll attempt to become the first back-to-back winner of the event since Jack Nicklaus in 1977-78. Brooks Koepka headlines the field, making his ninth start at PGA National, where his best finish was a runner-up in 2019. Ryan Gerard arrives as the highest-ranked player in the field in both the FedExCup standings and Official World Golf Ranking following consecutive runner-up finishes to open the season. Shane Lowry and Max Homa add further depth to a competitive lineup. The Champion Course (par 71, 7,223 yards) remains a formidable test, with water in play on 15 holes and the decisive “Bear Trap” stretch (Nos. 15-17) once again set to play a pivotal role down the stretch.

    It’s really not hard to get a highlight video to make sense. But this seems intentionally bad.

  10. Another Koepka sighting on PGA highlights. The truth – He's T98 with a +3 today. He sure has brought a lot back to the tour. Still a joke!

  11. Ryan Gerard’s literal “birdie” not shown? Apparently the bird is fine, but hitting a bird mid flight has to have odds worse than getting struck by lightening.

  34. By far the worst commentary heard in a golf tournament. Why do they hire these thickos? "Are you kidding me?" Those cups must have the neatest ever trimmed bucket bevels, literally sucking balls into the holes. No wonder golf scores are becoming ridiculous on tour.

  41. David Ford had some great shots to get out of trouble or more trouble …..hope he has better rounds in terms of staying on the fairway and getting on green in time …..but golfs hard
