In a stunning turn of a events that has unfolded the past few weeks, Brooks Koepka has departed LIV Golf, applied for reinstatement to the PGA TOUR, and been granted that wish via the “Returning Member Program” newly announced by CEO Brian Rolapp.

Smylie Kaufman and Charlie Hulme react to the breaking news, the conditions and penalties Koepka accepted in order to return to the PGA TOUR, and potential impact on the other three LIV players who qualify for the Returning Member Program: Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, and Cam Smith.

  1. Brooks won't compete to play in the signature events. Why would he help them make more money for the competitors if he can't make anything from them? He would be spending his time and lending his stature.

  4. All the people talking about more punishment are actually insane.. it’s competing leagues. The players shouldn’t get punished for two leagues competing against each other for viewership

  5. The ironic part is… because of the LIV tour, that everyone seems to hate and ridicule is why the PGA had to change their business model, and pay their players a lot more. Make it make sense? 😂😂 Pro golf and much of it's fan base is just a clown show now.

  6. This is so disappointing that he’s basically not penalized. No suspension or anything. Zero integrity left in the world though so not surprising. Fuck the pga tour.

  9. Brooks fell to 244 in the world. Jordan Spieth has depended on those spnsor invites cause his game sucks. If Brooks got a sponsor invite, he would be bitching 3 ways to sunday. Glad Smylie and Charlie recorded this emergency mini pod. I think Smylie has great insights. He and Charlie have done a great job of looking at this from both sides and not having a narrative.

  10. PGAT just proved they will bend over for guys to return. Ignored the rules and procedures already in place. LIV guys understand they will make offer again if forced too….ha ha. Once you show you are wishy-washy…..you lose. The Feb date means NOTHING……PGAT can and most likely will make offer again…….ha ha ha

  20. I watched Golf Today last night and they interviewed several players on camera and said they talked to a lot of players off camera, and it was pretty much unanimous they liked what the PGA did. The one huge thing is that nobody is going to lose their job because of it. I think the PGA handled this very well

  21. Not that my opinion matters, but I personally think that Liv is idiotic and not entertaining at all. PGA is the pinnacle, and all I care to watch outside of YouTube golf, but if Koepka was all I had to watch, then I would never watch another tournament.

  23. Well they all signed a deal saying that they were going to have shorter rounds of golf 3 days instead of 4 days now l i v golf decides to go with a more traditional rounds of golf 72 holes Charlie wouldn't that void a contract

  25. Signing Bonus – Everyone here is assuming that Brooks 'probably' had to give back a % of his sign-on Bonus, its possible, buuuuut we dont know, unless Brooks tells us….
