Final Round Condensed Highlights | 2025 Maybank Championship
Enjoy some of the highlights that have happened this morning. And we’ll begin with Sean Kim, a winner a couple of weeks ago in South Korea. This was for birdie at the first, walking it in. This was Gina Titico’s first tall. She’s pretty much good at everything. She’s good at driver. Yeah, she’s good at iron shot. See what I mean? She made that and moved to 14 under trying to close the gap. And then Alen Kim well finished with an eagle on 18 yesterday. Not a whole heap of movement. What a way to start the last round from off the green electing to go with the flag stick. It’s for a birdie. Was that a good choice of clubs? Soon you joins us from a world number one. Miranda Wang for her third shot. on the front right over there about there. It’s very tough pimp to forum. Paul Rito only 97 yards today. It was going to be our first hole in one of the week. Let’s go to the second. This for P. Back up the hill for Alim Kim. Yep. Nice and clean. No problem to make a four. And nice to see those ones dropping early. Love it. They do a great job. Hannah Green here at two 164 there with 7 iron looking 20 ft right of this flag. That’s the smart play. That is going to be a yard. Yan Leu 155 will have to step on this eight iron in order to get it there. But this one she’s throwing a dart. Oh, that was brave. What a shot. Right at the pin on the second water all the way down the left hand side. No letting up there from the Chinese player. 147 here with a n iron starting right. She doesn’t want anything to do with this flag. Well, it’s a safe shot. Three and go to four. It’s going to be one of Lydia’s wedges. 97 yds at the fourth. Perfect to let go when you haven’t won on tour yet. And when you want it so badly as well. Do you remember when we first started talking about her? Little bit more complex. Muya’s birdie putt on five and she made it. Having the luxury of playing for position is a luxury at that. We go to Alen Kim in the bunker up ahead at the green. Great bunker shot for Alien Kim. She’s um putting a lot of lot of the hour to make sure she’s able to shaping a ball a lot. And in the meantime, Sey Young Kim, other Korean player. Oh, well, just throws darts right at it for Sean. You always do it or would you wait and try and stay in your zone until maybe the later in the back nine and see what you had to do? Actually, let’s say if I was only like one stroke in front of the groups, I will pay attention to leaderboard. If Whoa, that hurts. She was aiming right edge and then just pushed it ever so slightly. She towed it a little bit. Similar length coming back. You need to take your time with these. Two part in the end for Seang. 190 here for Hurjan. Four hybrid in hand. This one left of the flag. Should find the green. It does find the green, Euan, but it’s going to be a sizable part coming back. Wow. I winner of the Portland Classic this year for her first win on tour. Second, third into the fifth. Oh, and is a very very good result to Hen Green. Just inside 90 yards here playing uphill. Looks really good for distance. Oh, I’m actually surprised that that one didn’t spin back to her compatriate Alien Kim who has this birdie pot at the fourth looking to get within three. So three it will be for Alim Kim who’s trying to make inroads directly behind her. So there might want to be a little movement to the left here. certainly was more than she saw. Maybe didn’t quite have the pace for the line there because it means that she’s kind of hitting more towards the center of the green from that angle. Go to six needs to give this a belt. Sean Kim [Music] a belt straight into the middle for Seang Kim. That was tracking beautifully all the way. What an excellent read. It just golf is fun game because she just missed a very short birdie chance and the last Just a touch left of it, but not too far. Nice. Just an inch for a Kim. Expected to put that in the in the forgotten category pretty quickly. That one did move. It’s not an easy put. So, it’s going to be a three for Hannah. still very much. Her chances are alive, aren’t they? Alien Kim for birdie. And certainly don’t count a Kim out of this championship. Second shot for Ronnie at seven. Oh, it’s excellent from Ronny Y. Nearly thought about going in. Now would similar yardage too back on the third hole. This one 97 yds slight down slope aggressively at the sand wedge. Looks pretty good in the air. Yeah, it’s a great shot. You um here’s a viewer question. Curious to know what the players snack on during the during play. This has come from Chris in the United States. Six yards closer. Perfect sandwich distance here for Her Choy. 91 yards. It’s a good strike. Great strike. Good shot and a huge opportunity for Hedgein Choy. Location in that back right corner. 29 paces on. Ooh, that’s really great shot. Oh, she had a member’s bounce. used that shoulder. People already queuing up up to the uh gut uh box and gut pose. So, you know, we can’t be more excited than that. Love that great birdie from Hannah Green there. So, a step forward for her this leaderboard has brought to to everyone involved. There’s a big part to come now. Datau Street. Oh, it’s a straightforward in the end for Hjin Choy. It’s a par. Yeah, because they will have played exceptional golf. And exceptional golf has indeed been played by Herjin Choy. Here she is now. uh second to the sixth hole the leader by two brilliant peppering at the pin and we are asking you our fans around the world who will win the May bank championship do scan um so the coach saw me uh drive then thereafter I asked what’s wrong with my drive right he said you just need to pivot a bit more u and and just swing and pivot again so I tried that and actually it worked yeah it actually worked only for the next hole unfortunately. So, I just need to keep reminding. Third shot now for Hannah Green at the sixth. That looked like it climbed the face a little early. The strike wasn’t crisp on that for the chasing pack, including Ailen Kim. [Music] Wonderful. Absolutely brilliant from Kim. and to move to 20 under par. Never high enough. Scoring wise, this is her worst start of the week through six holes by two shots in fact. Looking to get up and down Hannah Green for par to stay at 16 under. [Music] And that’s a shame. That’s a drop shot in a crucial stage of this championship. Four shots now separating her from Choy. Brilliant shot in from Kim at seven [Applause] and has got that lap putter rolling beautifully. So tie one yard closer at the same club. 79 155. Oh, and that’s a worst swing of the day. It needs to fly to carry that front bunker. Shouldn’t be a big problem to make a par, but it is being trimmed. It’s now only two shots. And really, anything can happen, can’t it, Sean? And now it was Hannah. Great shot from Hannah working it off the backboard as well to create a birdie opportunity. Invest into a big women’s team event. East versus west. That would be fabulous. Just like that putt from Hannah Green. She gets to within three. But that’s a brilliant save from Herin Choy. Wow. She is testing herself. I Zato Shan Chan Fun for Japan and China. No, it was Shan Shan for running Yin growing up. Her third on the way here at 10. That’s terrific third shot. Really great opportunity for running in J Shane in Park also. Alien team one day could be the really good role model. I mean already good role model for the junior golfer. What can Hannah Green do? One yard closer. One more club. That’s seven iron from a good angle and it’s left of the pin. Just barely skirts the tree. What a strike this is. [Applause] It was good strike. It was just a little bit too long. not making it all that easy for herself on the front nine. That was a good pop for Henderson who in the off season likes to go speed skating of Alim Kim pinned just over a ridge. Distance control all important. [Applause] for the lead for Alen Kim coming next. 213 Yamashta who’s also been brilliant out there today. Flawless five under on the round and maybe another birdie on the way. Hannah Green is approaching to the green. has to erong should stay. Her head would be spinning right now. That’s the first time Herjen Choy hasn’t held the outright lead since the third hole on Friday. Alim Kim there at 12. Just wasn’t the place to be really was it? Price in the rough. Yumashta from the back edge at 14. Look at that gather pace. It’s a very good shot under the circumstances. We’re back to 13. Alen Kim, she too not out of this. Now she’s a really good chance to chasing a leader for sure. Settle down. Had to take the elevated route but very hard to get any check. not finding their accuracy that have been so good to her the previous few days. Mio Yamashta 116. She also have a really great chance to go to be a solo solo leader. Good strike. It’s come out pretty hot. Oh, you are kidding. Hits the flag. Hannah Green, what a break. 113 and a good angle here for Hen Choy. Wedge in hand. Lost a couple rides today. And this is another one. This is High Tariff. Looks to be taking it on over the water. This is a brave shot from Alim Kim. Straight. Oh, right at it. What a class shot from a classy player. She loved that. Well, let’s jump ahead to a player who’s cruising, flying under the radar, Mu Yamashta. Hardly anybody’s watching her and she’s got the lead on 18 under power alongside Hannah Green. Oh, well, the siren has just gone. Wedge as well. This two flying just a little past it. Oh, it’s a super shot though. And there’s a chance for Hjin Choy. What a shot to have to wait over. Fraught with danger. He’s going to have to sit down. Pretty good. Yeah, it was a smart choice. Choy 15. Nice touch. Got to clip it perfectly. Very quick once it gets on the green here. Difficult to stop. Put away her part on 16. This is on 17. And aka enters the frey. Backto back birdies. Great shot. [Applause] And blading the sand wedge. Kate, this is the right play. Nicely done. and a green. Good second shot angle for Gino and great birdie opportunity. Absolutely brilliant delivering for the crowds that have come out in their droves to watch the world number one. Alen Kim her c her her second shot started a little left faded back nicely but didn’t stop it quite quickly enough. This needs to settle. It’s a birdie putt to come. It would be to finish on 19 under and post the clubhouse target. She has been brilliant from that distance. The rookie all throughout the course of this year. This is the difference between when you’re playing with the freedom and then when you’re playing with the pressure. 115. Perfect pitching wedge number. The flag only three from the left. Looks good for distance. It’s solid, but it’s a part to come now. Sean Kim. Oh, the lucky red trousers help get this close. Yes, they will. Good job. Exquisite deaf touch. Ball went up high, but it was still be too long and that has to go in for aim Kim. It is very high and she’s posing on it just left of it. Right into the heart of 18. Only an iron required after a 330 yd drive. [Applause] Very similar as Dino’s pretty pipe. Yeah. And that’s not going to be easy for Hjin Choy to join Yamashta and Hin Choy. Rock solid from Hannah Green first to play and the breeze now a little off the right for these players likes to hit a draw. Mia Yashta and that’s what it’s doing. I don’t think she can get home from there. Bit of thunder rumbles. Oh, that is miles left again. Not only is that going to be an awkward stance, she could well be completely blocked out by the trees. That was quick, but she can get home in two. Takes it down that left side. Looks like a good strike for Hannah right down the middle. Yasha first to play. 250 to the flag. 232 to the front left is the number she’s looking at. I just watched a warm up hitting four or five of these shots. She hits a low flat draw. She could chase it up close. It’s a good strike. It’s towards that front left, but it’s going to be short. All she could give at the world number six. We must remind aiming towards the 10th T. needs to hit it about 110. It is the smallest target over there where she’s had to play. It’s missed the actual teen ground itself, but it’s okay. It’s just in the rough. It’s come out high and straight at it. Does it have the legs? It doesn’t. That was a golden opportunity there for Hannah Green. It was a green light second shot. Wrong club, heavier conditions. Probably the lad. It was a confident looking swing. Good strike. It’s about 6 ft left of the flag. That’s a terrific shot under the circumstances. It is. I think what can she deliver right now. Has to go. [Applause] Stick the club in the ground. I think the back swing was a little bit too short and so was the result because now Green is not on the green in three. And that must be fourth shot now for Green. That was heavy-handed. The other two aren’t this for birdie [Music] number one on tour from 10 to 15 ft. That was 20 ft and in it goes. What a brilliant time to strong choy but for Muya comes from eight shots back and the rookie from Japan is a winner in Malaysia. The May Bank Championship winner for 2025, Mu Yamasha.

She might be little in stature but her game is built for the big stage , well done to Yamashita, close for the others , Japan should be great next week
Hye-Jin-Choi is not the same player under pressure
Does the highlights editor hate Jeeno?
HJ Choi perlu perbaiki mental.juara
Very dramatic ending. Thanks for the highlights.
what a player miyu is and that outfit today was stunning, first time shes worn a dress in competition all year and how good did she look, the wardrobe help of miyu take a bow, best player on course as well as best dressed xxx

New subscriber and Thank You. I enjoy watching the ladies play a lot more than the men. Just better ball striking all around and scoring. They really do make it look easy.
Another great week for women’s golf. Incredible skill and consistency on display.
Was that early commentator Brooke Henderson? It seemed like her voice.
Great comeback!
It was clearly a biased digest that only focused on Hannah Green. Yamashita started to catch up towards the end, so it seemed like they were reluctant to show it.
