Martin Karee is focused on his LIIV golf future while keeping an eye on the 2027 Ryder Cup. With many LIIV player contracts set to expire soon, the two-time major champion is renegotiating his deal while planning for his team. Clicks GC Karee has earned over $8 million on LIIV in four years, but has managed just three top 10 finishes. Speaking to Bunker Dio UK, he said he hopes to keep playing on LIIV for at least the next 5 years, but noted that long-term contracts are harder to secure at his age. Martin Kare is also looking for a new player for clicks GC after Frederick Jetrop was relegated. Using stats from a Finnish company, he has shortlisted 10 to 15 DP World Tour players and is analyzing their performances. While focusing on LIIV, Karee has not ruled out a European Rder Cup comeback. He said he may return to the DP World Tour if he feels he can compete at a level to make the 2027 RDER Cup team. Currently, Martin Kare is also restricted from taking on a captain or vice captain role for Europe due to a DP World Tour rule introduced in 2018. The regulation prevents players who have given up their tour membership in a season from serving in leadership positions for the RDER Cup. Martin Kmare has played in four RDER Cups for Europe, 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016. He was part of three winning teams in his first three appearances, finishing with five wins, six losses, and three halves overall. Here’s a look at his RDER Cup record. 2010, Celtic Manor qualified at 25, record two wins, one loss, one half 2012. Medina qualified at 27, one win, one loss. Zero halves 2014. Glenn Eagles qualified at 29, one win, one loss. Two halves 2016, Hazeline picked at 31, one win, three losses, zero halves. His most memorable moment came at Medina in 2012 when he held the putt that secured Europe’s victory. The next rider cup in 2027 will be held at Adoram Manor in County Limmerch, Ireland.
