Tiger Woods Over the Top
Hey guys, I was sent a couple videos of Tiger rehearsing a deep inside takeaway and an over-the-top move. Now, this is what I’ve been encouraging people to give a try because it’s largely ignored by most of the golfing community. Now, check out Tiger doing this severe inside and over the top chop. This will give you a ton of leverage on top of the shaft. Just give it a try. Trust me, it’s just something worth playing with.

This is a clear example of the "over the top" feeling that golfers/great ball strikers want. I understand your philosophy, Christo.
Only really good golfers should do this
I will give it a try.
That Last Swing is 100 percent Raymond Floyd, i been copying Ray Floyd iron swing for years😮, but it only works for me inside 150 yds because of distance with my already short swing, when you strike it sweet the ball is right on top of the Flagstick.
Problem is with this
I get a push right
You're an idiot
Dude… the reason he’s doing this is because he can get length anymore in his back swing and keep the club infront of him. The best he ever swung the club was with Haney and Hank, and that club was well infront of him. Cut it out. Stop misleading the people.
100% correct. All the great players of all time played this way
Like Matt Fitzpatrick
Zeroing out.. they come from inside too severely on occasion, so they want they “feel” of zeroing out the downswing path…
I tried this move and dam near killed 2 people in the other fairway! No Thank You
Except most golfers don’t have the club face control. Thats why they come over the top and slice the crap out of hit.
Looks to me like he was (especially the second clip) rehearsing a punch cut, like you might need if you pushed your drive right into the trees…and had to hit a low one under the branches.
When the majority of the time you running with a trued up swing it is sometimes helpful to reach out and touch the curbs to re-enforce the idea your swing is actually trued up.
I 100% disagree with your over the top BS. This is why I unsubscribed to your channel a few years ago. It's not over the top. It's on plane. Over the top implies literally over the top of the plane. If you draw a line from his shoulder to the ball he is right on it. Stop gas lighting people with this non-sense.
