  1. At position 6, just like you see here in Tiger Woods’ swing, the crease of your right arm should be pointing toward the camera if you film yourself face-on.
Think of this as a simple checkpoint you can use: the trail elbow should be pointing back toward your body.
When you get this right, your arms stay much more connected to your body, and the club shallows naturally. A helpful feeling for getting there is to imagine you’re losing an arm-wrestling match — that sensation can be a great trigger to start your downswing the right way.

  2. It takes a lot of work and practice just to feel comfortable with the hands distinctly in front of the clubhead (ball first contact). sweeping/collecting the ball without trying to effect a release. The release feels like it peaks after contact.

  3. Yes it’s great to stay connected.. but let’s be honest. This is the most tigers ever been connected next to Foley era.. this is not the best swings he’s ever had. With Butch, he wasn’t this close at all to being connected
