  1. Phil's done. He can barely beat Grant Horvath. That said, I just saw Phil hit a two skip, full stop wedge shot in his last match against Grant. It was the greatest shot I ever saw. I didn't even think it was possible, but age has killed Phil's talent so much that he's not a threat in a major anymore. Sad, but also great that Phil still has flashes of greatness. He'll make great shots, but he's done scoring in the low 60's.

  2. Dudes been SLAVING! FOREVER! I remember printing that article in SI with the green in his backyard- I'm soaked in sweat on a Time/Life on the 12-8 shift,glad to have 4 hours OT a day and he's buried, hitting that shot that lands behind him! No child labor laws ( and outworked by Woods!)…no wonder he drinks and gambles. Still top five!!! Being a lefty proven stressful. Let the POOR guy fade into the desert, sandshot after shot…chasing that mirage. I'd say say 'wasted' but what else could be done with….Arizona.
