  1. I’ve seen Adam talk about this quite a bit and the ball position always confuses me. If you set up square with the ball in the middle and then shift your feet to the right, the ball is now forward in your stance surely? I don’t understand how he says shifting right brings the ball back?

  2. Just my two cents, this is a great way to get your average amateur to make an over the top move. AS is top notch but this way of hitting a draw is not.

  3. Same way i was taught with added closed face. Beware that turning to the right actually moves the ball further up in stance so adjustment is needed. Same goes for a cut, open face to target, aim left and move ball up in stance

  4. When he shifts to right, the bottom of the arc is now slightly back (compared to square), thus most then move back to get the ball position moved forward. He then swings along his shoulder line. Thus a shut face curves toward the should line.

  5. It went exactly where I thought it would since the club face stayed square to the target. I would think you want to adjust to aim a bit more right of target.

  6. Face dictates ball start line. So when he starts with the face pointing towards the target, then changes the path more in to out, the ball is going to start towards the pin and draw too far left or exactly what happened. He needs to start right of the target with the face, and then aim his body even more right to draw it in to the pin.

  7. My teaching pro tells me that opening my stance moves the ball back and vice versa the opposite of what Scott says, he demonstrates this using alignment sticks as visually it looks to do the opposite but when he laid two alignment sticks down and keep the 90 degree angle in relation to your stance direction, it's true.

  8. "Old school" setup to curve a golf ball – face to the target, alignment right or left for a draw ot fade.
