Early 2000's (2002?) I saw him at The Master's on #2 the dog leg left Par 5. His tee shot found the bunker and there I was! He wants to layup which makes perfect sense. I'm thinking MAYBE 6 iron because you can't see over the lip of the bunker! He's probably even or below the lip but he's got about 10 or 12 yards to get the ball up.
He's thinking a bit looking at it and I'm thinking that for me i would need a PW or 9 iron to be sure and clear that lip. Nah.
Adam asks for a 2 iron.
What?
Me: "I know this man didn't just ask his caddy for a 2 iron."
I swear before Jesus his caddy hands him a butterknife that is probably a 2 iron and at the top of his backswing I swear I never even SAW his downswing start, i heard impact, and the ball just disappeared.
It's all black magic! 😂
The ball disappeared!
It wasn't plugged in the lip of the bunker it was GONE, over the lip easily and his caddy just nodded like it was a good shot to his layup spot.
So yes, Adam is a Golf sicko❤
These guys are not human golfers😂
Only one I know who changed more this year than me
Was wondering if some of these club changes are done to prepare for certain courses?
Man if I was on tour and had access to all these sticks I’d be doing the same thing!
One of us!! Love it. He’s such a good dude too
super sick seeing you cameo in a Titleist commercial this weekend. the equipment junkie has come full circle.
The boy loves to tinker, can't blame him if it's all free
If Adam wins there wont be a dry eye in the house…
I swear, the older you get, feel becomes so interesting. One day ahhhh this feels perfect. The next, wtf is this thing!!
The K* is a really good club. My home club likes to play firm and fast, yet a lot of the rain we get runs off right in front of the green, so conditions vary greatly… the K* can do it all.
Hope he wins
Shaft also depends on the head of the iron he is using. Miura heads are 6-7g heavier per club which requires a higher bp shaft to make it feel similar to his old set. Could be the reason for the shaft change
The bounce on wedges makes sense and idk why more tour guys don't change based on the tournament location. Now the 9 wood and 3 iron is nuts😂
If those Callaway MB’s go into production I’m fucked… Also, I love your content and will continue saying so.
A 20 degree 3 wood? 😂 ok
He currently still 1 under
Masters use only me and that they has like negative weight. These greens are the only equivalent ha
Some people love everything about golf. The equipment and playing. That’s me all the way. Love trying new shit
