  1. Effortless power in your golf swing — is something you can actually learn.
    Doesn’t matter if you’re 30, 60, or 80 years old.

You don’t need to be strong.
You don’t need to be flexible like a Tour player.
What you need is the ability to move your arms and wrists freely.
And almost everyone—at any age—can still do that.

    But here’s the key:
You need to learn the movement—
    and more importantly,
you need to get comfortable with it.

Because if a move feels unfamiliar,
you won’t use it on the course.
On the course, your brain wants safety.
    It wants control.
It wants to avoid embarrassment and bad shots.

And so—you stick with your old habits.
Even if you know they’re not helping.

That’s why training is so important.
    That’s where change begins.

And here’s something you need to remember:
If the move feels normal from the start… it’s probably not right.
Real improvement feels strange at first.
    Sometimes it feels completely wrong.
But that’s a sign you’re on the right path.

The players who allow themselves to feel “wrong” in practice—
those are the ones who make real progress.
    They break through.
They build a swing that actually works under pressure.

So here’s what I want you to do:

Go to the link below this video or in my bio,
    sign up for my newsletter,
and I’ll send you a simple drill you can start with right away.

    Let the new feel in.
And just focus on that one move.

    That’s where effortless power begins.

    Best,
    Sigmar

  2. Swing starts with a weight transfer and downward strike led by the right elbow. No effort is made to delay torso rotation. Hips clear in reaction. Club/wrist appear to release from centrifugal force
Guy's arms look like those paintings of of Moroni…

  3. It looks like he pulls his arms down to start the downswing, but what he actually does is react with his lead leg and foot to push up and effectively brace the lead side to stop him sliding toward the target and keep himself centred. Doing this obviates the need to do anything with the arms as they automatically drop to the perfect position from which to start the release. Most golfers would then throw the hands at the ball to effect the release: this causes all kinds of problems. What the very best players do is to concentrate on their forearms, rotating them in an anticlockwise manner keeping the clubhead behind the hands right through impact: if it feels like you are dragging the clubhead you're doing it right.

  4. This is the way. Nice weight shift and rotation while keeping shoulders square. Great delivery position (blue) and hands ahead thru impact. If I can get back to the delivery position almost entirely by weight shift then the swing result is usually pretty good.

  5. The key to lag and being able to hold the angles shown by the colored triangles is to keep the handle (grip) moving forward throughout the swing. Golfers that struggle are the ones whose focus is on moving the club head instead of the part they’re holding on to. A golf club is a simple tool and how do you move any simple tool? By its handle. It’s the urge to “hit” that is the killer of golf swings.

  6. “you don’t need strength” they said, showing flipping giant forearm muscles in the video

  7. I'm sure my phone listens to me when I talk to my brother about my lack of distance at work. This is a perfect illustration for me. I'm conflicted.

  8. If you can learn to just return your hands to address at the same position you started from golf gets pretty easy! Then you just start with a forward shaft lean. I was taught to have lead hand even with the inside of my front pocket. Then I worked on returning my hand and getting into that impact position. Lots more to it than just that though. Body and weight, using your hips and shoulders vs your arms and swaying.

  9. Yup. Those 2 angles promote massive power. Ice learn to Always hinge and release/throw. Powerful
