  1. I'd like to have seen you have that iron head with a shaft and grip with the right swingweight for you to feel comfortable and hit better. I think they could make a slightly less bulged set of irons for quite a lot of people

  2. Early in the video, you said you'd provide a code to obtain a "bit of discount" on the purchase of the retail Avoda irons. You didn't provide the code!

  3. I have a set of old "Controller Irons." Same concept. Roll & bulge technology. Everyone called them a gimmick, except my golf buddies that used to pay me three times a week.

  4. SO bryson has less loft because he has to much spin? So he uses a 7 iron with loft like me 5 iron. Make sense now that he hits it so far

  5. I’m starting to lean into the idea of one length irons, I’ve just been struggling with consistency recently going from 5 iron to PW. Bryson has definitely helped revolutionize the game as far as beginning to normalize one length irons and other crazy gear changes

  6. All these golfers saying the loft is crazy. No one cares what’s your loft when u hit the green 😢 shooting 3 digits every weekend is wild😊

  7. Love the vid. 1 recommendation: putting up the numbers you call out loud with labels after you hit. Keep it up!

  8. Manufacturers were doing a lot of marketing years ago, but today it is off the chain. Oh but technology, ok yeah, but mostly the balls. Bottom line, you can’t go into a pro shop and buy a game. That is the illusion that manufacturers present to the public constantly. I don’t buy the hype. Your money is better spent practicing. Home technology is a big advancement because you can visually pick your swing apart. Beyond all of that, spend a boatload of time on and around a putting green because that is better than 60% of your game. Oh yeah, you don’t need a $1000 putter either.

  9. Yo! Would be great to display the numbers after each swing instead of trying to decipher all the metrics you spit out in half a second 😂

  10. That small clip of him showing his crank driver near the start of the vid was his own what’s in his bag . He didn’t show one avoda club. Lots of ping , LA golf putter his crank driver but no avoda . So I’m confused.

  11. i dont know who's idea it was to continuously read a crap ton of numbers but you jus ruined your own video. put it on the screen or change camera angle like damn bro u failed

  12. Back when I first retired, I was all about traveling and splurging on things like this. But as inflation hit harder, I had to cut back. Even with some adjustments, those early withdrawals are tough to recover from. Now, I’m more focused on stretching my savings, and being more mindful about money even down to my gear upgrades, definitely a challenge I didn’t fully see coming

  13. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like there is a bit of a difference in body composition between Bryson "Bull Moose" DeChambeau and The Equipment Junkie. Could that explain Bryson's ability to swing the heavy 5 iron? Just speculating here 🙂 I once played a round with a baseball player who had played in the College World Series. That dude was so strong. He couldn't hit driver to save his life but he could just smoke a 3 wood. Strength matters. But the cool thing about golf is that there are so many aspects of the game that people of all shapes and sizes can find a way to get it done.

  14. With the lofts/specs, you have to consider that Bryson has a combination of some of the highest speed and least shaft lean amongst elite players. Recipe for high launch numbers and crazy spin

  15. For us mere mortals, those mods probably don't make that much of a difference. For super humans like Bryson though, that's where the mods begin to manifest their differences.

  16. Nonsense. His gw is the same length as a pw so just labeling it somethitng different doesnt change what the ball is doing. So saying a pw at 45 "spins to much" but then labeling it a gw and saying now it spins fine when the ball is literally flying the exact same way is just ludicrous.

  17. What would happen if you swung Bryson's irons faster than him? Would the gear effect change to produce worse results? Mostly asking for if a set of iron bulges were designed for someone at a slower speed but then they learned how to swing faster, would those irons become more detrimental and to what degree?

  18. You are not an average golfer. I’m a 6 hcp and would love to hit these. Do they sell the curved face to the public

  19. Great video and thank you for putting this on line. You need different shoes. If you watch your shot you highlighted at .5 speed your right foot is slipping back slightly causing that right shot. I don't think this is enough to change your analysis just an observation. Still really interested in getting an Avoda set and confirms I shouldn't get Pytner shoes.

  20. Literally cheap junk. No in house grinding it’s just polished, no forging, no technology like tungsten inserts or anything. They feel like trash, hard to control flight, just avoid…
