    It's time for Jack Nicklaus to bow out. Time has caught up to him, sadly. It looks like he had his arm on Barbara's shoulder for walking support as he came to the tee. There is no spring in his step. This year I was worried he might actually fall face first onto the tee as he teed up his ball. Imagine how awful that would be for Jack's legacy and the Masters. It's become an agony watching him as an honorary starter. I wish that wasn't true. Gary Player's physical health is amazing and he is older than Jack. Keep going Gary and Tom!

    Some possible future honorary starters: Faldo, Langer, or Crenshaw. And, OH! If only Ballesteros were still with us.

    o At one time, Jack was a chain smoker, but never in your life have you seen him smoke on television in a tournament.
    o Jack cannot tolerate the sight of blood. When Barbara delivered their 1st born son, Jack passed out in the delivery room from the visual of the event.

    "THIS" is a Champion. No visual vices, no women, no family issues … just a man dedicated to his passion and his family.

43. I'm 82 and still love the game altho I don't play as much any more. and like so many I mimic ed Jack's head turn on the backswing. but it did not get me what it got Jack !! but it made me feel like a pro!. ECF
