No excessive shallowing, no laid-off, marvelous !!
During their college years Colin Morikawa, Victor Hovland and Matt Jones had great competition among them. I had hoped they would ultimately develop into the Palmer/Nicklaus/
All different takeaways, swing planes, wrist conditions, downswing transitions but at impact they all look very similar 💯
Out of these 3 Greats, Gary had the best swing.
Right hip high before impact, left hip high during and after, creating space through impact between the hips and the hands. Common across all three. Very similar loading of the club behind the hands along trail forearm prior to impact too. Interesting how much knee flexion they keep through impact compared to the modern straightening of the left leg.
