  1. Another great video mate, I actually like it, I have well over 100 putters, and love old vintage clubs. I should send you a Australian Vintage putter🙂

  2. I think a people choose putters by how they feel mostly. The JN100 was a marketing putter with Jack’s name on it. Similar to what Jack used but not quite. Keeps sales going by keeping Jacks name out there and riding his victories.

  3. I played with the MacGregor “George Low”, VIP, Jack Nicklaus signature putter which is an obvious offshoot of that one. Jack definitely used a similar putter to win a lot of tournaments including the US Open at Baltusrol and PGA at Oak Hill in his big comeback year in 1980. I’d say it was the putter people most identified with him until he used that silly Response putter in ’86.

I sold my putter years ago on eBay. Kinda wish I still had it.

  4. If Jack had actually used that style putter and won some tournaments with it it might have faired better in the market. Hustory can be cruel!

  5. George Low Original Sportsman wizard 600, bought out of the trunk of mr. Low's car,, thats what Jack used for years and years, to the point those became highly prized collector items worth bug bucks.
I've got an exact replica made by Ram , same exact stampings as the original wizard 600. Even the replicas are valuable or at least they were twenty five or so years ago when I bought that Ram used for …90 big dollars. My collection has really shrunk down but I still have my favorite heel shafted flanged blade, a Cleveland designed by. Or is it "designed by Cleveland"?..

  6. I found one of these a few years back for 5 bucks. The name on it sold me right away. It has a nice soft feel with a distinct pop sound ever roll.

  7. Hey man I'm brand new to golf not sure if it qualifies as vintage but I'd love to hear your opinions on the Wilson blackjack 854 putter. It was my uncle's that he gave me and just learning I love it but he also bought me a odyssey 2 ball that he says is very top of the line and I should use that but when I'm trying to mess around and learn the Wilson just feels so much better and more natural. I'd also love to get it restored if there's somehow a process to make it a little shinier and newer looking as it has a little rust and wear marks but not sure how any of that works. Love the videos!
