  1. Talk about making a bad investment in this so-called "entertainment" or "sport." Who even cares about it?! I’d have to be seriously bored and already in the neighborhood to attend an event like that. Watching it on TV or streaming? Are you kidding me? What a waste of time.

What’s next? Judges holding up scorecards to rate the beauty of a swing like it’s figure skating? Let’s not forget the only reason this idea even came into existence—it was created to give players a team-based alternative to LIV. But now that LIV is becoming a mainstream part of golf, the entire premise has lost its purpose.

LIV is the real deal, while this is nothing more than a minor footnote in the history books—a failed attempt to compete with the LIV tour.

  2. The negative comments are a loud minority of 50+ year old golfers who despise every attempt to widen the game. The public itself has a superiority complex that means its get on the hate bandwagon of something new instead of just… I dont know… not watching what you dont like and watching what you do. But NO! IT MUST BE FREE WATCH! and IF IT WAS FREE TO WATCH ID HATE IT BECAUSE WAAAAAAAAAAAAA SIMULATOR GOLF IS BAD WAAAAAAAA

  3. This show is a disgrace to golf and the history of golf. Bring back wooden clubs and the old type ball, then we will see who the true champions are…..

  4. I posted on Twitter a dozen years ago that their was more golfing talent than the PGA Tour could handle. I suggested then that there should be another tour with teams and leagues much like the other pro sports after watching the excitement of the Ryder cup one year. A few years later, along comes LIV Golf and now TGL. I never imagined the hi-tech format. It's going to take a while to adjust. I'm hopeful the TGL Directors are up for the challenge and the demands of golf fans. It looks promising and has great potential.

  5. Not sure this has legs- younger viewers might like it. People will tune it to see it but I doubt it will gain much popularity- this is putt putt on steroids with technology.

  6. This will be a colossal money pit. Even the people in the seats walked out. Hardly anyone there at “half time”
