with this being the first turnament that Rory marroy has played since his US Open blowup this is the first time we’ve gained an opportunity to you know as journalists asked him questions going into this weekend and a lot of the journalists on site at the Genesis Scottish open asked him many questions about his round and he was very open and honest about his round he said that it was very difficult for him the last three holes he was very much in his head the put on 16 he found himself uh taking a lot more time than usual in the buildup and the put on 18 he said that he knew where Bryson was being in the left rough of that Us open on number two Pinehurst that course is rough played so difficult to play out of so with that in mind Ro maroy was pretty confident on Bryson not making par so he just was more focused on him not missing terribly with his putt not putting it Out Of Reach to come back for bogie instead of just trying to make the putt that would have forced the playoff either way
