Charlie Woods is on Pace to catch tiger the 15-year-old son of the golf legend will play in the US Junior Amateur championships the end of July after posting a one under at a qualifying tournament in Florida in addition to making the field for an event his father won three times in a row from 91 to 93 Charlie is already collecting trophies and setting records of his own in 2020 he played alongside his father at the PNC championships becoming the youngest competitor in the history of the event and just last year Charlie helped lead his team to a high school state Championship one of the few accolades his dad can’t claim while tiger will almost certainly be in attendance in Michigan for the amateurs as his son tees off the rules prohibit parents from caddying at this event so he will have to watch from the gallery this time as Charlie chases greatness
