Rory and I *DON’T* SHIFT WEIGHT because we know better! 💥
and I swing and it’s crisp so you’re not seeing a shift or a sway off the ball because then contacts compromised it’s over
Rory and I *DON’T* SHIFT WEIGHT because we know better! 💥
#golf #golfswing #golftips
is your point for backswing only?
@Saguto Golf….in a previous video I mention I just joined your member site. I wasn't sure if my weight forward position was correct. This rear view is very helpful
They showed Jack Nicklaus swing during the memorial this past weekend.
Back in his day,he moved forward significantly.
Rory shifts
Make a slow back swing and you won’t shift unless you’re very weak
Bro I like your style and golf technique. No need to sway nor pressure here and there. There’s this guy Jerome Rufin who is teaching this crap saying, “ Rory and JT shift/rotate their left heels landing it at the target in their swings”. And we ought to mimic it. Bunch of bologna. False info and a terrible teacher on his part. Dude, I like your make it simple golf game. Why complicate it!!! You go seguto
Rory looks like he has a 50-50 weight distribution at the top of the swing. You look like you have a 70-30 weight distribution at the top of your swing. I’d be really interested to see pressure plate data comparing yourself and the pros at the top of the swing. Also I’d be interested in comparing both of you with a driver.
You keep golf so simple and simple makes things fun! I’ve always hated when coaches say to shift your weight on the back side and then shift it back forward in the downswing. If anything, I’ve always stacked my weight on the lead side in the backswing and I’m able to compress the ball so much better that way
Rory may not show a great deal of weight shift but neither does he keep all of his weight on his left side. His weight is pushed down through his right foot on the backswing. All the top pros do a ‘squat’ movement to transfer their weight to the left side. This couldn’t be achieved if most of your weight is left on your left side throughout the swing.
To my eye, at the top of the swing your swing and Rory’s don’t look that similar to be honest.
Shifts pressure for sure.
Your swing and Rory’s swing are very different. Most pros do not use stack and tilt (other than when they hit wedges). Instead, they load up their lead side in the backswing and then transfer their weight/pressure into the lead side during their transition. Very misleading title. Rory has a significant shift off the ball – especially with his driver.
Still think your crispy clean instructions need more focus on shallowing. ❤ your instructions and was a subscriber but post more reels/clips etc. on getting that club low before impact. 👍 Thanks for all the other goodies.
Is this stack and tilt?
Of course you’re shifting. Stop confusing people!
… listen to what he says, dont shift OFF the ball (backwards)..see a lot of amateurs do that when they fall backwards, you want energy moving toward the target. When you can spank the ball like this, then you can comment… thanks Tom the audio on your vids is awesome, nothing better than that crisp strike sound on an iron!
Its not just crispy. Its XTRA Crisp
I’d like to see your grip, especially the left hand.
