Nah. Looked like he ran over and held his arms out to block the area. If a ball lands on a cart path, it will bounce a few times before it starts rolling backwards. First bounce can be really high. Even if it ran up the path, it will take a few seconds to start rolling back down. Others were in the same field of view and unlikely everyone keeps their mouths shut
