‘I don’t regret it’ Michelle Wie West talks stepping away from golf to focus on motherhood
I think the role of a mother is so important um you know I feel extremely blessed that you know I had such a great mom growing up an involved mom you know I know that’s you know unfortunately not the case for everyone um but you know I also felt like I had a lot of other moms on tour as well too with my mentors you know Meg and Beth I always called them my tour moms and you know I just was so grateful that you know I just had so many great female role models in my life part of the reason for you stepping away from playing was so that you could focus on being a mom M as you reflect on that decision what’s it been like over the last year or so you know honestly being home with her more um it’s Priceless being able to spend time with her um and I I I don’t regret it I I really think I made the right decision and it’s just been amazing being a mom
