Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2023 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 18–21 at Oak Hill Country Club. The reigning champion is Justin Thomas.

  1. Not a good look in my opinion, hitting a club that can’t even hold a wet green, if that was a hot day he would have cleared it by 10 metres…
That’s why this guy is average at best at the masters or the British open he can’t control his ball off the tee. Distance is great for sure. But accuracy and shot placement to set up consistent looks at the pin will beat swinging for the fences on every tee box any day of the week.
I have to say it’s his short game and putting that saves him most of the time.

  2. It’s certainly been nice not having to watch this silly looking/acting character since he left. I don’t know why they feel the need to degrade the majors by allowing them back

  3. Yeah but did you see the other two players that drove the green as well. A lot of people on tour have them at distance. Still impressive, but he’s not the only one with that capability

  4. It’s not a 3-Wood and I don’t like what he’s doing for the game. Attracting the wrong crowds. Also, if these commentators are up to speed with the modern game then we need new ones.

  5. Great to see Bryson playing with the very best at LIV Golf and the Majors. His improved schedule allows him to get better and better.

  6. To be clear who a mini driver is is relatable to the right idea of the right peptide at Tod’s point in atmospheric policeman in the old past of things.

  7. Looks more like a Mini Driver. Either way, beautiful club, beautiful shot!
