Two-time FedExCup champion – and 2018 winner at Bay Hill – Rory McIlroy leads the star-studded field at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard. Englishman Tyrrell Hatton returns to defend his title having won twice on the European Tour in the last five months and has rocketed up to fifth in the world since his Bay Hill victory in 2020. In-form Jordan Spieth is set to make his long-awaited Bay Hill debut, while three of the current top 10 players in this season’s FedExCup standings hope to continue their strong play, including Viktor Hovland, Harris English, and Max Homa. Other notables in the field include Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Patrick Reed. Ryder Cup captains Steve Stricker and Padraig Harrington received Sponsor’s Exemptions to compete, as did Kamaiu Johnson, who is set to play his second-ever PGA TOUR event.

  1. I am begining to be his fan . Like the power drives and his short game. He is my favourite after Tiger.

  2. Hitting over trees, cutting angles, and above solid short… he could be changing the the sport forever.

  3. So I'm new to golf and I can't understand why people are complaining about someone using his physical strength and precision in long range drives to find new lines and then finish with good putting? Much rather see someone keep the game varied than listen all the ridiculous American shouting and obnoxious commentary.

  4. What about Westwood keeping up with Bryson when Bryson had probably one of his best golf performances ever

  5. I'll take Bryson over Brooks any day of the week. He wants it. He loves the game. He doesn't care what you think.

  6. Man can hit straight nukes and his short game and putting is top notch. Put it all together and he's 9 shots clear, and I'm sure that'll be higher, tomorrow.

  7. When Bryson gets that putter going, it`s not even fair to the rest of the field. With a big round today, he can put this outta reach for most, advantage DE CHAMBEAU. Great coverage, that`s different.

  8. Just look at the concentration on his face after those putts, It`s Tiger like. You can see the pressure leave his face when they drop in the hole. He`s totally focused.

  9. Swing fast = injury. It’s been proven over and over again. It’s now a problem for this guy. The body will not take that kind of torque. Tiger proved that years ago

  10. remember watching this with my dad and we thought he was an absolute idiot taking that over the corner and then he did it

  11. What a great playing!!! DeChambeau made all audience excited!!!
It's the first time after Tiger Wood did it last.

  12. Faraghty and Bryson both prob talking to LIV while this was happening. Makes you think

  13. Aesthetically isn't either not Nick Faldo or Seve for sure but he's definitely one of a kind…
    Amazing player

  14. Bryson’s lack of hitting fairways off the tee and lack of hitting greens in regulation is why he hasn’t won more.
