  2. Find some language content that you like, not too long, maybe 10 minutes. Make sure you like the content and the voice. Listen to it over and over. Comedians are good for this. Try Stuart McLean of the Vinyl Cafe. You can find them on the web. It is important that you like the content, and voice, and that you listen often. And when speaking, don't worry about your pronunciation, not at all.

  19. 我是中文爱好者。我学中文已有40多年了。我按照Steve老师所说的方法，养成多听多读的习惯。我刚开始中文时，在我周遭没有机会接触中国人，当然没有机会练习说口语。只好死啃书本，收听广播。当年我最常听的是北京广播电台的新闻节目。我在日本的时候，学习中文进步很慢。可是在工作退休，搬到了台湾之后，我的中文有了飞速的进步。现在讲、读、写都没有问题。不过，听力较差。我还看不懂电影和电视剧。
