Englishman Tyrrell Hatton returns to defend his title having won twice on the European Tour in the last five months and has rocketed up to fifth in the world since his Bay Hill victory in 2020. In-form Jordan Spieth is set to make his long-awaited Bay Hill debut, while three of the current top 10 players in this season’s FedExCup standings hope to continue their strong play, including Viktor Hovland, Harris English, and Max Homa. Other notables in the field include Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Patrick Reed. Ryder Cup captains Steve Stricker and Padraig Harrington received Sponsor’s Exemptions to compete, as did Kamaiu Johnson, who is set to play his second-ever PGA TOUR event.

Redefining the sport quiet Literally, next 5 or so years the sport will change, youngsters bringing the A game hitting silly yardage with different clubs 👍
He is trying to redefine the game but poorly in my opinion. There is much more to golf than clubhead speed and how far you smash your driver. He lacks the finesse and artistry of a Tiger Woods or Seve Ballesteros. I am starting to see young golfers I am being paired up with trying to emulate his swing and failing miserabily because they do not understand that his swing is unique to him, his precise swing speed, anatomy, and clubs. I just shake my head in disgust. You want to be a good golfer? Practice our short game and when it comes to your driver, make sure you land on the fairway because 90% of golf is palyed inside 150 yards.
