TPC Sawgrass will once again host THE PLAYERS Championship, with 43 of the top 50 golfers in the world teeing it up at the iconic event. After a brilliant run that has seen him claim three wins in six starts on the PGA TOUR this year, World No. 1 Jon Rahm will lead the field. Reigning FedExCup Champion and winner of THE PLAYERS in 2019 Rory McIlroy will be confident in challenging for glory after an impressive showing at last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational saw him finish T2, just one shot behind eventual winner Kurt Kitayama. All 14 players who have won on TOUR this season will be competing, including Max Homa, who currently sits in second in the FedExCup Standings. The Californian shot an impressive 6-under-par 66 in the final round of last year’s event to finish T13. 2021 winner Justin Thomas will be looking for his first win since the 2022 PGA Championship. The World No. 9 has recorded just one top-10 finish so far in 2023 and will be looking to recreate some of the magic that saw him shoot a combined 12-under-par across rounds three and four to secure THE PLAYERS two years ago. 30 players will be competing in the event for the first time, including 2022 Wyndham Championship and Shriners Children’s Open winner Tom Kim.

  2. I think the bare minimum as a PGA announcer should be to learn the names of all the players at a tournament. At 12:05 the guy sees Christiaan Bezudenhout at number one and just glazes over to list off the names he recognizes.

  9. It’s been said before but I’ll say it again… the highlights packages the PGA put out on YouTube are terrible. So much talk about growing the game, and you can tap into a different audience on YouTube compared to the people who watch golf on tv, but you honestly wouldn’t think the PGA care about their product at all if you watched these all the time.

    Just clips taken from live coverage of long distance putts or close approaches. No sense of a story whatsoever. It’s literally the bare minimum. Do better.

  22. Ok now I almost never say this in real life but enough is enough its gone long enough on this PGA on youtube and even broadcasting tv. Whoever makes these videos is a RAACIST.

  34. No fore no nothing? Players should be fined for not yelling fore. Its a very serious matter in many situations nobody seems to give a damn. I guess that the man in the clip might be hit anyways, but scream anyways,! Its a sign of respect and care for your fellow human beings.

  38. Like they really need to get more creative with these highlights. It gets boring. Show some terrible shots and some good shots from same players so you can get a feel for the tournament.

  41. When I watch golf the most annoying thing about golf is listening to all those annoying golf fans man golf fans are so annoying and stupid
