One shot back of Jack Renner’s lead at Waialae Country Club on the 72nd hole, Isao Aoki won the tournament from the fairway with a remarkable eagle hole out off the face of his pitching wedge. It was his first and only PGA TOUR victory.

Man, I am actually old enough to remember Aoki.
I was just a kid in the early 80s and learned about golf being my father's caddy in the weekends ( which gave me pocket money).
I used to wonder why the hell is my father playing this long boring game.
– 35 years layer here I am, doing the same thing as my father using my young son as my caddy.
Now every time I am back at my parent's home, I play golf with my father still playing very competitively.
And that is a true blessing!
