Gary Player on Jordan Spieth’s Struggles and Coaching in Golf
Golf legend Gary Player shares his strong views on Jordan Spieth’s career, calling it a “tragedy” that the former major champion has struggled due to poor coaching. Player explains why he believes Spieth is the best golfer in the world, but was led down the wrong path with flawed techniques. He also criticizes modern American coaching methods, including the bowed wrist approach, and warns of its dangers for golfers’ long-term success.
I don't know what the wrist bow is trying to accomplish for the pros. I've used it at times when I know I can't hit the ball to the right. Like a bandaid to insure my ball goes left. I can't imagine trying to play like that every swing.
