Jack Nicklaus How to Get an Extra 20 Yards with Driver #jacknicklaus
Jack Nicklaus explains when he wanted to get an extra 10 to 20 yards on a drive, he would consciously slow down his swing to allow for a fuller backswing which translated to more clubhead speed.
Funny….now I hear that swinging the club faster in the backswing actually increases club speed…..I like Jacks method
Didnt look like a slow swing at all 😂😅
Who is this mike Tyson sounding whiner
How small does that club head look
Jack Dicklaus
That makes a huge amount of sense ! Thanks Jack.
This guy seems to know his stuff, has he won much?
341 yards with 1963 tech of wood club and balata balls.
In other words, if you try to swing hard, or fast, assuming your an amateur who has no time to practice properly, and plays once a week ,30 times a year, you'll Probably swing out of sync, using just your hands. If you swing slower, with more tempo. you use your entire body. legs hips, etc to promote power.
Not sure. Tell that to Kyle Berkshire and Bryson DeChambeau. They look at it the complete opposite.
Super fast back swing
Not good advice. You need to swing as hard as you can for good results.
Yeah club head speed doesn’t matter. Wrong.
That's basically what Bryson told Wesley Bryan. Feel like you give your hands time to catch up at the bottom
Make it make sense that everything goes faster except for the club head. Like, ?
Jack followed the old school method of learning to hit hard then learn to control it. He was amazing for his day.

People don't understand that he says doesn't have to make sense to us, or to anybody else. It only has to make sense to him. Listen to Trevino's 'three steps' before hitting a driver; that's even crazier on a whole different level. Lee believes it, and that's all she wrote.

Yup once you get click with that long swing without over swinging it’s like butter, but not that easy 😂😂
“I try to go slow”
Just straight rips one off the tee 😂😂😂
The best that ever played.
