It's pretty stout that Justin and other PGA golfers try to help the helpless when they don't have to, stand up people.
Actually it is a moment of inertia not of truth 😂 The club + arm start back as a unified single lever action with a high MOI but as the wrist hinges it changes into a dual lever action with lower MOI which is why the club head accelerates more than hands. What happens next is that the trail elbow folds down changing the trail arm into a triple lever system which reduces the MOI even more which is way the club swings up around the hands and accelerates.
The way to get a free express trail ride to the top is a low wide extended takeaway delaying the transition from single lever to dual and then bending elbow at the same time. What that does in terms of the physics is go from single lever / to —🤷🏼♂️ triple lever, skipping the dual lever phase. The club head mass reacts like a scalded cat in the way it whips up around the hands and accelerates. It is how Hogan did it and how Tiger does it. He explained the process in his 2002 book ‘How I Play Golf’ writing that his father Earl told him in his takeaway to imagine the club head was a wasp’s next he wanted to throw as far away behind in the takeaway extension as possible. The next day I tried that and the club whipped up and pulled shoulders around hips effortlessly. 😊
