Fleetwood/Rose vs Scheffler/DeChambeau Extended Highlights | Saturday Four-Ball | 2025 Ryder Cup

knee bend. Sit. Sit. He says sit. Oh, and it does. [Applause] That was perfect. [Applause] Good looking swing right there. Pick him with that T. Perfect shot. Well, right. He’s having a go. [Applause] And what an atmosphere it is out here. Tommy Fleetwood from 90 with a back stop. So you have choices if you want to hit it past the hole and spin it back. [Applause] Justin can really flight these wedges. probably looking for a little draw to kind of compact the wind a little bit. [Applause] Nicely done right there. Flat control the spin. Beautiful shot. He’s going to take this in low and try and take some spin out just the way Rose did. [Applause] Heck of a shot by Scotty there. He needs some good things to happen. He’s got to pump himself up right now. He’s pretty just emotionally flat. And he’s done so very nicely. Two excellent chances for the United States. US needs to draw on everything they can, but this would really set the tone for Europe if Rose holds this one. That’s exactly what he does. Right in the middle from Justin Rose. [Music] Half and three. [Applause] Shambles allowed to p Great line. Magnificent shot from a great young man on two fighting from 113. [Music] [Applause] right in tight to the hole there by Sher to the second again this time to Shambo after that huge drive 62 yds it’s up 62 yds to the pen [Applause] There we go. You can see the mark of Justin Rose there. Justin Rose for the tie. Very good. Mr. Rose, it’s a party fest so far. Birdie birdie start for Rose. Oh, beautiful shot there. Rosie just went to the left side of the tea. Tried to draw it in. This is for the win. Start from Justin Rose. The first blow this afternoon goes to the Europeans. The first bit of blue on the leaderboard. [Applause] Excellent long iron there from Fleetwood. Good chance for Eagle. Little bit of a downhill line this portion of the fairway. He needs his high cut shot to get the elevation. [Applause] Doesn’t like it. Come out of it again. But like shot an 18 this morning. High right hand shoulder coming through. That’s when the power comes in handy. Yeah, looks magnificent. Albert 162 plays eight uphill. Half a club win. Tough front hole location. Have to get a lot of elevation which Tommy did. Helbert. Solid shot there by Tony 148. [Applause] [Music] Let’s get his attention. Here we go. Here we go. It’s another superb shot from Bryson Dambo. He is in the mood out there this afternoon. Well, that’s more like it from Sheffler. golf of the highest quality. Make it go. There he goes. G things up. Scotty goes about his business slightly differently. [Applause] Brilliant. That’s an amazing shot. You heard him talk to his car foot. I’ll just lay the I’ll lay the blade open. Both sides. It’s a very tight lie. Firm line from 85. And it’s a down slope as well. Comes off very low. Probably has a lot of spin. Just the right amount. Jay, pick a European. All right, Scotty. That’s my brother in the board. Just a little pull. He needs to put some pressure on the Europeans. Two birdie putts to come. And he has Scotty Sheffller. Oh, Bryson loved that one. Yeah, the certainly been a lot warmer today for Sheffler than it was yesterday. throw. Arms are offie. Oh, fantastic. How good is he at those pups? Just goes about his way. So calm. There is no play from over there. I don’t think luck is a factor. [Applause] [Music] Oh, he picked up the tea right away. He likes it. Loves the moment. He didn’t hit it like he had any pressure anyway. He’s absolutely smashed that down this long par four. He’s not one for steering it. It’s such a strong European team right now. I can’t really see them losing. That being said, there’s a reason why they play things out. Indeed. A lot of golf left. Ro just looks so good. Looks metronomic. He’s getting better with age. Jay, he is. You know, it’s just so consistent. Justin from the fairway at seven. High draw. Oh de tremendous. [Applause] Justin absolutely on fire. 200 y. So, I wonder what he’s hitting. Maybe an eight time or something ridiculous knowing him. Whatever it is, it’s not enough. That was another beautiful pass from Justin Rose. And look at that. Suddenly, there is no red at all on the leaderboard. You can’t def You can’t play defense against putting. And these guys are putting lights out. That looks rather good. Stay up just for Tommy. [Music] Three for three. Brilliant distance. So to rose this for a European win to go in this match. [Music] Good news. Had he given up on it or was he walking it in? Oh, he was walking it in. Was an early walk from JR. Hadn’t even got halfway. Watch the eyes. [Applause] Managed to flip the into nine. Ball above his feet. Seven eye for Tommy to this front pin. It’s looking good. It’s looking better than good. Quite a shot from Tommy Fleetwood. You can’t see that. Fleetwood in close at nine. Here’s Sheffler. They’re just a little bit closer to the pin. She cheffler on the ups slope eyeing it up and down right there. Anything you can do. [Applause] He’s coming alive. The world number one. More from David H a little later, but Steven Gallagher is back with us. Jamie’s still here as Justin Rose down the 10. Lovely drive there. He’s playing so well. He’s just such a great driver of the ball. Look at that. Hasn’t deviated an inch. That is your frozen row. That is frozen rope. Sheffller at 10. [Applause] That’s a little bit more balance for Sheffller. We’ve seen some strange swings from him today. He is extraordinary the way he plays the game. Well, unbelievable there by Toby and he listened to his caddy. Big Finn just a range eight iron straight at it. Straight at it. Fleetwood. There’s one thing known there, Jamie. There’s another thing doing it, isn’t there? I know. Look at that. Tommy, six or seven help from the left. And this ball’s in the air. I want to say that for the first time ever, all Ryder Cups I’ve done back to 99, this is the worst crowd behavior I’ve seen. Great shot [Applause] in eight holes. D Shambo. Well, there no bunkers in play for this man on this hole. One down the right is about 306. Absolutely pummel it down there. Just look at the people. Come on. [Applause] pass the deficit popping [Applause] his Isn’t he incredible? Look at that. The passion that only the rider cop can bring. How much of the corner will he take on? [Applause] Steal one there anyway. Absolutely. Still P from the last one. Give yourself a reasonably flat putt. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Goodness gracious me. He’s like a machine. [Applause] This is getting ridiculous. Oh, it’s like throwing darts and they keep hitting the bullseye. [Applause] You can like it. [Music] You know, it’s just they got they picked up that one in the last hole, right? In the second match. They only need one. Flickwood holds for Bie. Justin kind of took care of the front nine. Tommy’s taking care of the back nine so far. B’s on 10 and 12. He’s got his shackles laid up at 13 on his third. Oh gosh, that one was close. Cle finds another one. I don’t believe it. everything. It’s just going the Europeans’s way, isn’t it? Took forever. It felt like it took forever to get down there to get there. Of course, it does putting together one of the great Shacklet to tie the hole at 13. Gast two down. Fleetwood. He’s so good with these irons. Flighting it down a little bit. [Applause] It’s hard to imagine being outside of 12 ft. It is another blow for the Europeans. Another superb shot from Tommy Flintwood. It’s a relentless pursuit of that little gold trophy. I had them in their position possession and they are desperate not to let go. It’s perfection from Fleetwood. Let’s remember who these two are up against as well. [Music] [Applause] It’s a truly exceptional shot. Just when he needed it, he found something. Bryson. This is remarkable stuff from these two. They are 11 under power through 14 holes. witnessing something special here. He’s going to have to watch the space. He’s going to stay up on top there. Go back down to the bridge. It’s all right. And it’s one that he’s made. center too, right? I mean, you made that look so easy. What a round for Justin today. [Applause] Well done. Well done. Crossing the shot there. Got some stuff. Elevated T. You can see everything in front of you. Slight breeze in his face. Just another drive. Flawless. Uphill putts there for birdie. One of them will need to hold one of them. Fleetwood down the 16th. Beauty as usual from Tommy. Great drive. Oh, long as well. He’s really rather good, isn’t he? Justin Rose stands tall and that is her point secured for the Europeans. They move to 9 and a half points and hardly believably Scotty Sheffle the world number one has gone 0 and4 over the first two days here. 1. If Sheffler and DeChateau continue with professional golf this match will leave a scar. They'll never be quite the same

  2. And Dechambeau showed how much of a loser he really is by completely avoiding Justin Rose after the match. Rose then went out of his way to track him down to shake hands. Yup. You stay classy now, Dechambeau.

  3. Outplayed and outclassed, in every sense of the word. Well done Europe boys, you were all incredible.

  4. Rose goes God mode. I'll always remember that put he had at Medina against Phil, and the one he walked in here as two of my fave Ryder Cup moments.

  5. Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau whipped the crowd into such a frenzy that the Ryder Cup turned ugly. What’s supposed to be a gentleman’s game slipped into chaos. First Thomas amps them up, then he has to shush them—doesn’t that basically admit both guys pushed a bunch of drunk spectators over the line? Where were the marshals and the captains to calm things down? If the event wants to protect sportsmanship, it needs clear limits on taunting, quick intervention when players incite the crowd, and real consequences when the line is crossed. And the caddie didn’t acknowledge his own mistake; he kept pushing an approach that was already out of line. It sickens me that the U.S. turned a great tournament into a fight among friends.

  6. I like Scheffler, just to be clear, but Bryson comes across as a complete school bully. Zero charisma, brilliant golfer btw. Got a PR team that tried to reinvent himself on YT. Typical right sided American, all about the money. He only 'loves' his country as long as it is in the image he wants. He will NEVER be a team guy.
