Huge equipment news this week. Adam Scott, if you’ve watched him play the last 10 plus years, he’s been putting with one of those longer sweeper style putters primarily. And in 2019, he switched to a lab version of one of those. Making a big switch this week to the lab Oz1i HS in the traditional length. So, a huge switch for Adam Scott. He was actually one of the primary sources of feedback for the Ozi original club head shape and now they’ve got this O1i HS model. Of course, the heel shafted version that still has all the lie angle balance properties that we have come to know and love from Lab putters. So, big change from Adam Scott this week. We’ll see how he putts, but of course, this one’s been super hot in club fittings so far since it’s been released. Not such huge news…his putting is terrible and he’s desperate to try anything…we’ve all been there…that says nothing about the Oz putter IMO…we’ll see how he putts with it…if history is any judge, he’ll putt fine for the first outing or two, then settle back into his mediocre putting…
